The Men's 3's travelled the short distance for a local derby brimming with confidence with a pretty strong squad and immediately took control of the game going 1-0 up within the first 5 minutes from a superb cross-pitch ball from Tom to Ryan at the far post who feinted the keeper and then reverse stick lobbed him into the back of the net
The dominance continued but despite this we just couldn't get the ball past their on-form keeper, well to be fair we could but just not then get the ball into the back of the net, for the rest of the half and Stockton snook an equaliser just before half time
Still confident going into the second half the domination completely switched to Stockton and despite a lot of hard defensive work we found ourselves 1-4 down with 5 minutes to go until MOM Gabe slotted a ball perfectly onto the penalty spot for DOD Chris to finally find the illusive back of the net for a consolation goal
